HBH Diaspora Off-Take Initiative

KEY FEATURES OF THE HECTARE BY HECTARE DIASPORA OFF-TAKE INITIATIVE

This is an ambitious initiative designed to enable Africans in diaspora Off-take Food and Agricultural Produce directly from Rural Farmers and Food Processors within Africa at a significantly discounted rate without paying money in advance.
Food items are shipped to Sub-Consolidators in diaspora on credit, who in turn will deliver same to consumers based on orders aggregated in advance from the participating consumers within their catchment areas.

TRANSACTION DYNAMICS FOR PARTICIPATION OF SUB-CONSOLIDATORS.

1. 1. ADCL shall appoint Sub-Consolidators for each Country.
2. 2. ⁠ The Sub Consolidators shall be responsible for On-boarding consumers on their HectarebyHectare Social Medial Platforms and delivering Food items to them based on Pre-orders.
3. 3. ⁠Each Sub-Consolidator shall make profit from every item purchased by Consumers within his/her network.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

1. You shall formally express interest to participate as a Sub-Consolidator.
2. Upon receipt of your expression of Interest a Formal appointment letter shall be issued to you.
3. Upon receipt of your expression of interest, a Provisional Letter of Appointment as a Sub-Consolidator, shall be issued to you.
4. Upon receipt of your Provisional Letter of Appointment, you shall be required to open a Diaspora Account with a minimum balance of $500 (Five Hundred US Dollars) or its equivalent and execute the Cautionary Deposit Instruction in respect of your diaspora account. This will enable the account serve as a collateral for the goods that ADCL will send to you from time to time on credit. You can open your UBA Diaspora Account by clicking on the following link

5. For guidance on the account and completion of the Cautionary Deposit Instruction, please contact

6. Upon opening of the diaspora account and execution of the Cautionary Deposit Instruction, you shall be added to the HectarebyHectare Transactions Platform after which food items shall be sent to you on credit from time to time.

TRANSACTION DYNAMICS FOR ORDERING OF FOOD ITEMS BY SUB-CONSOLIDATORS.

1. ADCL shall from time to time publish available items on the Transactions Platform.
2. Sub-Consolidators shall in turn re-broadcast available items on their social media platforms for their consumers/participants.
3. The Consumers/Participants shall place their orders through their Sub-Consolidators.
4. ⁠Upon receipt of Such orders, the Sub-Consolidators shall aggregate such orders and notify ADCL.
5. Upon receipt of the Orders from the Sub-Consolidators, ADCL shall in collaboration with local Produce Aggregators and Farm To Home Agents finance the Purchase and shipment of the items.
6. Upon receipt of shipment from ADCL, the Sub-Consolidators shall distribute the items to the individual Consumers/Purchasers under them.
7. Upon receipt of payment from the individual Purchasers, the Sub-Consolidators shall remit same back to ADCL less their profit.

BENEFITS ACCRUING TO STAKEHOLDERS

1. ADCL – Administrative/Aggregation Fee.
2. ⁠Sub-Consolidator – 40% of net income from each item Purchased by the Consumers.
3. ⁠Produce Aggregator and Farm To Home Agent – 60% of net income from each item Purchased by the Consumers.

GENERAL BENEFITS OF THE INITIATIVE

2. 2. Increase in employment and reduction of insecurity within Africa.
3. 3. ⁠Wealth Creation for all participants.
4. 4. Increase in inflow of Foreign Exchange into Africa.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Sub-Consolidators shall enjoy 30days credit for every order placed by them.

2. Items shall be cheaper than what is obtainable in the open market.

3. ADCL shall guarantee quality and traceability of any item that is supplied, as the goods are coming from Registered Farmers and Produce Aggregators.

4. Where a participant introduces a Sub-Consolidator, he/she shall be entitled 10% of Administrative/Aggregation Fee payable on all the transactions introduced by the Sub-Consolidator.

You can Participate and Earn money in Dollars by just Introducing a Diaspora Sub-Consolidator. You can also earn money by Financing the Procurement of Produce as a Produce Aggregator.
