Procedure For Registering As Produce Aggregator

A prospective Produce Aggregator must:

  • Possess a minimum qualification of WAEC or its equivalent.
  • Complete the Hectare by Hectare Produce Aggregator’s registration form and submit same with a valid means of identification (National ID, International passport, Voters card, or Driver’s license).
  • Pay the sum of N 2,000 as produce aggregator’s registration fee into the account below:
    • Bank Name: Fidelity Bank PLC
    • Account Name: Adasomi Development Company Limited
    • Account Number: 4011059393
  • Attend a public or private pre-qualification seminar.

    NOTE: Where the prospective produce aggregator is a traditional ruler, the above conditions will not be applicable
  • Upon successful completion of the selection process, you shall receive a provisional letter of appointment after which your appointment can be confirmed.

DUTIES OF A PRODUCE- AGGREGATOR

  • Aggregating agricultural produce from out-growers/registered farms.
  • On-ground inspection of produce to ensure compliance to the off-take standards (quality control).
  • On-ground inspection of produce to ensure compliance to the off-take standards (quality control).

BENEFIT ACCRUING TO A PRODUCE-AGGREGATOR

  • shall be entitled to profit as Produce Aggregation fee for produce either inspected or supplied by you

STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR AGGREGATING PRODUCE

  • You agree to be bound by the terms and conditions stated below and these terms and conditions are subject to change and any changes will be incorporated into the terms and conditions posted here on this website from time to time. .
  • WHEN SERVICES IS SAID TO HAVE BEEN RENDERED: Until the produce aggregated has reached the collection center, picked up and certified fit for off-take by the off-taker/end user, services cannot be said to have been fully rendered.
  • INSPECTION AND DEFECTS: All produce aggregated by the produce aggregator for off-take shall be inspected by a sub-aggregator on arrival at the designated warehouse or collection point, where there is a defect in the aggregated produce, such produce shall be sent back to the produce aggregator and the produce aggregator shall bear the cost of logistics.
  • REMUNERATION: A produce aggregation fee shall be paid by ADCL to the produce aggregator after the produce has been successfully delivered or picked up by the off-taker.
  • LOGISTICS: The produce aggregator shall provide logistics and take up transit insurance while ADCL shall provide logistics
  • DISPUTE RESOLUTION In the event of a dispute on any matter connected to or arising from this agreement, you shall endeavor to effect amicable resolution first before resorting to any action in a court of law.
  • GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws and Jurisdiction of The Federal Republic of Nigeria.
